I don't have any time to write anything because I sat up until 12:30 last night, and now it's time to go to work. But you know what I thought. What else could anyone think? Stunning.
Of course you may have also already been exposed to the Republican spin machine telling you what to think, and so you say, "That looks like a lot of flash and glamour. The Republicans convention will give us more substance." Yeah, the Republican convention will be full of botoxed West Palm Beach trophy wives with their hair in tight buns with their faux-pious husband's creaking on about terrorism and church and family values, even though they're on their third wife and set of kids already.
A convention is a pep rally to get the troops' spirits lifted and energized. The Democratic National Convention 2008 sure succeeded at this. Congratulations, Barack Obama.
