In previous years I've resolved to accomplish things that would require the cooperation of others to happen, and thus the events anticipated never came to pass. So this year I'm resolving simpler things that are entirely within my realm of control to make come true.

1. I want to dress nicer. For awhile I looked pretty sharp, but as I've settled into a rut of phone-droning I now have the shlubby appearance of a hourly-wage phone droner. According to my dad my grandad used to say that people never knew what kind of house you might come from if you drove a nice car. Therefore I'll dress up like I live in Dunwoody.
   



2. As the phone-droning rut has turned me into a rumpled robot, it has also sapped my creative energy. I used to have a project or two in the fire all the time. Now writing this blog is about it. So in 2008 I aim to be more creative. I've already got the singer guy working on my tunes (I haven't heard even a brief sample of what he's come up with yet...hopefully he's taking this time to make something really good), so once we get a few tunes up on MySpace I'll declare I've made a leap. Then I'll make more songs. I could also stand to make this blog more fiery.

And that's what I hope to do in 2008. Sounds reasonable.

I've also found it helpful to have a haircut like the man who signs my paycheck. Luckily he is also going bald.
