"Unchained" Flanger Test

 

I hope everyone enjoyed the previous post about death and decay. However, when I'm not mulling such deep topics as that, I'm trying to get the correct settings on my Boss BF-2 Flanger to play Van Halen's "Unchained". After some time spent tweaking I finally arrived at what's below. I think it came out pretty well, and as good as it is likely to get:



"Unchained" Flanger Test


The trick is to get your effect set so that it goes up one time, then down the next. This can be hit-or-miss, but on this recording I hit! I was pretty excited.
