Neal "Bruce Lee" Boortz

Intrigued by the comment of our new poster I went to Neal Boortz.com to see if he had, in fact, accused the Virginia Tech students of being pansies when faced with the reality of being shot dead while trying to study. Is it really possible a Republican (yeah, I know he says he's a Libertarian but it's a smokescreen) blamed the victims? Yes, it is!
Lambs for the slaughter
One more thing. I have a question here. No answer .. just a question. Why didn't some of these students fight back? How in the hell do you line students up against a wall (if that's the way it played out) and start picking them off one by one without the students turning on you? You have a choice. Try to rush the killer and get his gun, or stand there and wait to be shot. I would love to hear from some of you who have insight into situations such as this. Was there just not enough time to react? Were they paralyzed with fear? Were they waiting for someone else to take action? Sorry .. I just don't understand.
Well, my God, what a surprise! The same guy who thought Huricane Katrina victims, who had lost everything they owned, all of their personal records and sometimes their family, should just buck up and shut up, also thinks the Virginia Tech students should have defied human nature and common sense and ran towards an armed man who had just put bullets between the eyes of their classmates. Monica Kaufman and Clark Howard, rest easy! If a kook ever makes it through security down at Cox Broadcasting Neal Boortz is just down the hall, and will don his Superman cape and run to your rescue! I don't even know why they have security guards and card keys at the doors down there, with a one-man army like Neal Boortz around!
Come to think of it...if you look back a couple of posts I refer to one of the few times I've checked out Boortz where he talked about being mugged at a ATM in Las Vegas. Boortz was unarmed and his attackers were not. Did he give them all a flying roundhouse kick to their heads? No, he gave up the money and whined* about it on the radio later. Brave man.
To all our visiting Neal Boortz fans: there's your hero.
* I chose this verb because it's a Republican favorite. |
