Faith Hill Was Kidding, You Idiots!

Today on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Web page I was enthralled with the story from last night's Country Music Association awards. According to the story Faith Hill could visbily be seen to say, "What?!" and march angrily off-camera upon hearing Carrie Underwood (former American Idol contestant) had won Female Vocalist of the Year. Faith Hill put a statement on her site, which I paused from masturbating to her visage long enough to read, and it said she would never dis another performer like that. Her publicist sent out a press release saying it was all a joke taken wrong. What drama! I could hardly wait to get home to see the You Tube video (below) to assess for myself if Faith had gotten pissy.

After viewing it...country music fans must be as dumb as they're reputed to be. Hill can clearly be seen laughing and smiling with someone off-camera, as though she's waiting to spring her joke (early Country Music Television polls already had Carrie Underwood as the winner). When Underwood's name is announced she makes a big show of throwing her hands in the air and looking directly at the camera to say, "What?!" If it was truly an off-guard moment would she have looked straight at the camera?

Geez...watch and judge for yourself. If I was Faith Hill I would wonder why everyone was so eager to believe I was a bitchy asshole. Country music fans are the best fans in the world! NOT!

I don't think she was kidding. And if she was, it wouldn't be funny. Sort of takes the limelight away from the victor.
