HAAA Ha!

I haven't peeked in on the world of politics in a long time. It's a shame, because it sounds like I've missed out on some great opportunities to gloat.

Republican State School Superintendent Linda Schrenko of Georgia on her way to the state penitentiary for 10 years. Diverted school funds for deaf and Honors students to a failed gubernatorial campaign, and a facelift. As Nelson of The Simpsons would say, "HAAA HA!"

Back in the late `90's Schrenko visited Cartersville Middle School for a tour, and I was assigned to follow her around with one of our crumbling video cameras. She seemed like a space case, a very dazed look in her eye, as though she was there for some remedial GED program rather than as an educational leader. Based on the court reports maybe she was zoned out on one of her 12 prescriptions. Perhaps she's why we rank either second-to-last or dead last in education every year. That $600,000 could have put us over the brink.

Among the two callers to my old show was a guy I still communicate with who would turn absolutely any topic into a rant about Bob Barr or Linda Schrenko having a facelift. I didn't know what was important about Lina Schrenko's jowls back then but I'm starting to get it.

Good news for Linda: the way things are going, she'll be able to bunk up with any number or Republicans in the hoosegow.

Anonymous said...: yeah, what is with these dinglebroads? She should've hidden everything next to her bed like Hillary did. Best way to avoid prison time. And then the Clinton aid who walked out with classified papers in his underwear. Ya can't just do the crime, you have to know how to avoid prison time!
