A couple of times recently I've mentioned an interest in the music of The Go-Go's, and childhood memories of abusing myself to the videos of the great Belinda Carlisle. It turns out this nostalgia is right on time, because Carlisle is soon to be back in the public eye. She's going to be a contestant on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars.

This could be a great thing, if only this season doesn't repeat the giant, stinking, nearly-unforgivable mega-mistake from last season of letting an old coot like Cloris Leachman hang on `til the end while dumping a sure-fire ratings-getter like Kim Kardashian early on.

And speaking of Kim Kardashian...The other night I was looking up some of my favorite Bible verses when I stumbled across the famed Kim Kardashian sex video. There she was, naked from the waist down and showing off the flexibility of her throat for anyone with an Internet connection to behold. And it was...NOT hot! I couldn't believe how boring it was. I didn't care for the close-ups of her oversized butt, and she seemed shy about revealing her ample bosoms even though her winky-hole was easily visible. Her few rounds on Dancing with the Stars were actually hotter.

Belinda Carlisle's appearance should be hot, too, but did you know she's 50 now? For some reason when I was 15 a 50-year-old would've been a big turnoff, but I find at 38 that I can find 50-year-old women attractive (see Leeza Gibbons of another season of Dancing with the Stars). This must really be gross, but my 38-year-old brain is too dementia-ridden to know any better. Hey, I still like teenage girls, too, so...maybe that means I'm a perv.
